Track income progress as a category in the budget
I have a question about cha ching for the Iphone. When I go to budget categories, it shows in income category, but you cannot enter a value for income. Say, I want to budget for 100 dollars in tips and want to track my income against my budget. How do I do this?
I see the income budget at the bottom of the budget page, but How can I set it up as a category?
Also, when I enter my paychecks, what category should I use in my transaction list? If I use income, it shows I am over budget?
does that make sense?...thanks.

Inappropriate? This doesn't seem to be working. It doesn't show in my budget and I am not given the option to budget an amount for it.

Inappropriate?I apologize, I think I may have misunderstood your initial question.
You're right currently there is no way (that I know of) to set "income" as a category to budget. that would create a negative value in the budget, and it should be factored into the monthly Income at the bottom of the page instead.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate? Thanks. This is what I was afraid of. It would be nice to have this function.

Inappropriate? We will consider adding "income" as an item you can track along with the rest of your budget. I can see how this would be useful.
Thanks for the feedback! -
Inappropriate?I just posted a question similar to this one before I saw this one. I want to track my Tip Income category in my budget but the program adds income transactions to the budget set amount rather than subtracting.
I’m unsure
