Duplicate budget categories
Why are there duplicate budget categories on Cha-Ching iPhone? Does it suppose to behave like that when I have multiple accounts?

Inappropriate?There are not supposed to be duplicate budget categories on the iPhone. When did you start seeing this issue?

I have the same issue. It started after the first sync with Cha-Ching 2 beta 99. Also, some of the icons for the categories are broken. The all show the same icon as the "general" category -

But it is happening! I have the same problem. This is a really annoying problem since it brokes your entire habit of trcking transactions. People at Midnight apps should correct all those issues before deploying the apps.
The problem came when I did my first sync with the last Mac version. The Mac version was "clean" (just downloaded) and it was my first sync.
Please help.

Inappropriate?I haven't set any accounts or transactions in Cha Ching Mac. I've been adding transactions and accounts in the touch version. When I synced I didn't choose to overwrite data in the iPhone but to "merge" it (by default I guess). Normally I would understand duplicates (because the procedure was a merging one) but the lost of icons tells me that something more profound is happening.

Inappropriate?I don't know what you can do to duplicate the problem. It appeared to start when the new version of CCT (1.5) was released (but before the latest version of CCM was released B99).
- However I did notice that even when I overwrote the data on the iphone then the duplicate categories were still there (on CCT).
- Also, when I add a transaction in CCM the duplicates do NOT appear in the drop down list. Nor do they appear when adding a payee in CCM.
- However they do appear in the "mobile budget" on CCM.
- I have not lost any icons.

Inappropriate?I completely uninstalled CCT and reinstalled it on my phone to get back to a blank slate. I set up all categories and budgetary numbers. When I synced to the mac the first time everything worked fine. When I synced again I got duplicates of every category. The kicker is that if I change anything about one of the categories, the duplicate changes as well. So if I change my misc budget number in one of the duplicates it changes them both. If I exclude one of them from the budget via the categories list on the More page, the other dup is excludes as well. So I know the duplicates are linked somehow.
I’m Annoyed.
