Budget category amounts not adding up

I have a couple of questions/issues with budgeting in CCT. When I edit the budgets and go into the "Set Income" screen, it tells me that the amount allocated is $6,059. I have gone through every category and set the amounts to 0. I think what it is telling me is that there is that much money tied up in categorized transactions. That would make some sense however, when I start adding budget numbers to categories, that amount goes up! By the time I finish with putting in my numbers for the various categories, the program thinks I have way more money than I actually do. I really like this program and interface, but this issue is massive for me. Can you shed some light on what is happening?
